Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using the MettaMe.ai platform. By creating an account or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
1. Platform Description
MettaMe.ai is operated by MettaMe Inc. ("Company", "we", "us") and provides a wellness marketplace platform connecting consumers with independent wellness practitioners, physical wellness spaces (Sanctuari), and wellness products (Imetta and partner brands). MettaMe.ai is NOT a medical provider, healthcare facility, or licensed medical institution. All services listed on our platform are strictly wellness-oriented and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. By using MettaMe.ai, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you may only use the platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or contain inaccurate information.
4. Practitioner Relationships
Practitioners on MettaMe.ai are independent service providers, not employees, agents, or representatives of the Company. While we conduct credential verification and maintain a Sanctuari Certification program, we do not guarantee the quality, safety, or outcomes of any practitioner's services. The relationship between you and a practitioner is a direct service agreement between the two parties. MettaMe.ai facilitates the connection but is not a party to that agreement.
5. Bookings and Cancellations
All bookings are subject to practitioner availability and confirmation. Once confirmed, bookings may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the session price. No-shows forfeit the full session price. Practitioners may cancel sessions with at least 24 hours notice, in which case you will receive a full refund.
6. Payments and Fees
Prices for sessions and products are listed in New Taiwan Dollars (NT$) and include applicable taxes. A platform service fee (15-20%) is applied to bookings. Payments are processed through our authorized payment partners. All transactions comply with Taiwan's Uniform Invoice (統一發票) regulations. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.
7. Wellness Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: Services on MettaMe.ai — including breathwork, meditation, yoga, cold therapy, red light therapy, sound healing, bodywork, and all other listed modalities — are for general wellness purposes only. They are NOT substitutes for professional medical care, mental health treatment, or licensed therapeutic services. If you have any medical condition, are pregnant, or are taking medication, consult a qualified healthcare professional before using any wellness service. MettaMe.ai expressly disclaims any liability for adverse health outcomes resulting from the use of wellness services booked through our platform.
8. Prohibited Services
The following services are expressly prohibited on MettaMe.ai: acupuncture (針灸), chiropractic manipulation, psychotherapy or psychological counseling (心理諮商), licensed dietitian services (營養師), any service requiring a medical license (醫療行為), and any service that claims to diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions. Practitioners found offering prohibited services will be immediately removed from the platform.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on MettaMe.ai — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the AI wellness assessment system — is the property of the Company or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.
10. User Content and Reviews
By posting reviews, messages, or other content on MettaMe.ai, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our services. You agree not to post content that is false, defamatory, harassing, or violates any third party's rights. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MettaMe.ai and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of MettaMe.ai shall be resolved through the courts of Taipei, Taiwan. Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Your continued use of MettaMe.ai after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
